Samarkand

Third of the great silk road cities and the one with the biggest and most monumental buildings yet. The registran defies description. Its epic. Look for pictures of the Samarkand registran on google or something. Its impressive and looks like nothing I have seen before. I’m loving these cities and the fact that we are in hotels the whole time we are here. This hotel is called furcaz or something and it rocks. We all have little balconies overlooking a courtyard with little breakfast tables set up. There is also free tea and apricots and cool little traditional tea benches. Power cut aside its one of my favourite places we have stayed so far.
