Osh

12/06/09

We left Uzbekistan and entered Kyrgyzstan today. The border was a joke. Borders seem to consist of little big men in uniforms standing around doing nothing. There are normally loads of people waiting to get through the border, roughly the same amount of men in uniforms stood around doing nothing and at least one guy in a uniform with more stripes or pips or sashes than the other guys standing around doing nothing whilst looking moody as well. There was a lot of shouting today, a lot of shouting and zero productivity. I hate border guards. They are all shit at their job and sleep with chickens.

We are staying in soviet apartment blocks in Osh. I am in Osh today. Before today I never even knew Osh existed. My bed is well comfy and I have a room to myself. Tomorrow I’m having a lie in. Breakfast can kiss my ass.

  4. Loving reading your blog, have just caught up on it all. You definately need to get a photo book made when you get back and combine all your entries with photos and have it printed as a proper book.
