Bushcamp in Kazakhstan, just off the road. Its kind of semi arid, not quite desert but looks like the bit just before the desert. Uneventful really. We ate, we went to bed and then in the middle of the night it rained. A lot.
Debbie and Amy’s tent collapsed on them in the rain and they had to spend the night in the truck. They are not happy bunnies and everything they own is wet. 7th Penwortham scouts taught me to hammer tent pegs in at 45 degrees as far as they will go. Thank you 7th Penwortham scouts, our tent stayed up.
As I rolled the tent up in the morning Tim told me to watch out for Scorpions. Scorpions yeah. Woop de woo.
